Administering Medication Intravenously

Various medications, such as antibiotics, pain or analgesic medication, or various types of fluids, are administered intravenously. This dog is receiving a slow intravenous injection of an antibiotic into his drip-line as part of his treatment post-surgery for a gastro-intestinal foreign body removal.
