To the naked eye, these teeth may look perfectly fine. However, watch and see how the dental probe slips below the gum-line - this prompted us to look further by taking a dental x-ray which shows us how gum recession and periodontal disease are diagnosed. Without the x-ray, this diagnosis would have been missed.
