Hooked on your dog?!

This is a "nosey" dog doing a little too much investigating... of a fishing tackle box!. Result? A fishhook caught in his nose! Ouch! This was luckily a small hook with only a tiny barb, so removal wasn't too traumatic. However, sedation is usually required and sometimes the bigger hooks need surgical treatment for removal if they get deeply stuck. This lucky fellow got of easy!  :-)
